Here is my first base of Baccus 6mm British for the War of Spanish Succession. I painted them using a mix of Citadel and MP paints. The base was done using the new Baccus basing kit.
The basing is pretty easy to do. Start off with sand covered in a foundation wash followed by drybrushing lighter colours, topped off by static grass. The basing kit costs £12.50 and you get a bag of sand, a bag of static grass, a pot of foundation wash, base coat, mid coat and top coat, as well as a pot of PVA glue.
I've been gaming for a number of years now, I'm not the best painter because I am partially disabled but I'm happy with the results I achieve. I like nothing better than meeting up with my mates for a game and a laugh which is why I like to attend wargames shows as it gives me chance to catch up with people. I decided to start up my own blog thanks to my mate Peeler. I have a wide variety of figures ranging from 6mm Imperial Romans right up to 40K Chaos Space Marines.
Lordy! Another period! Good stuff. Basing looks particularly good.
